Ongoing Individual Volunteer Projects
KEEN — A program for kids with disabilities. Meets at Crossroads school in santa Monica the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 2:00-3:30 PM. Contact Michelle Wolf for additional information at Michellekwolfla@gmail.com.
Project Chicken Soup — Cook and deliver kosher meals to people with AIDS, cancer, and other life threatening illnesses. Cook twice a month in Culver city. Cooking starts at 8:00 AM and delivery starts at 12:30 PM. Contact info@projectchickensoup.org or 310-836-5402 for more details.
Big Sunday Year Round Projects – the End of the Month Club — Each month items are collected and sorted for low-income individuals and families, vets, and military families. Jewish Servicemen Abroad
During these difficult times, we should not forget that many men and women are serving our country abroad, and regardless of our political opinions, they deserve our support. Many servicemen are Jewish and face obstacles in maintaining their connection with the Jewish communithy. We can help by writing and remembering them in our thoughts and prayers.
