Photos from Dorff-Nelson Chapel

The photos below are of the stained glass windows found on either side of the Aron Kodesh in the Dorff-Nelson Chapel.  These windows originally adorned the Temple Beth Am chapel that was demolished in the _____ renovation of the synagogue. They were then relocated to the new Dorff-Nelson Chapel, where the Library Minyan currently meets.

Below are photos of the ceiling above the bima in the Dorff-Nelson Chapel. Conceived and supervised by artist Wanda Peretz in 2018 and executed as a community Hiddur Mitzvah Adult Coloring Project, this tableau honors the unique Jewish folk art that decorated the Prayer Halls of wooden synagogues in 18th Century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Over 60 members of the Library Minyan assisted in the coloring.
